Amazon.com for Windows Phone 8

Overview

The existing Amazon app for Windows Phone was outdated and needed a refresh. My goal was to create consistency between the mobile apps (iOS, Android, WP8) while maintaining a balance with WP8 guidelines.

Role: UX/UI design

Process

Keeping the WP8 panorama view in mind, I set out to identify the basic layout for each major area of the app.

Below is the overall user flow from the WP8 store through to the rest of the app experience.

After identifying the major screens and use cases, I went onto create wireframes. Below is an example of the department view panorama.
